The best defense is a great offense.
"Mao Zedong opined that "the only real defense is active defense", meaning defense for the purpose of counter-attacking and taking the offensive.[1] Often success rests on destroying the enemy's ability to attack. In reference to fighting terrorists, Matthew Levitt opines, "It’s important to pre-emptively strike at those who intend to do us harm."[2] The principle is echoed in the writings of Machiavelli and Sun Tzu.[3]
Some martial arts emphasise attack over defence. Wing Chun, for example, is a style of Kung Fu which uses the maxim: "The hand which strikes, also blocks."
Love you Kabu and I.

I was bullied for being skinny and freckle faced....
I ignored them because I was skinny and they were big beeotches who could kick my butt. They used to terrorize me daily. I've followed a couple of them through the years through school friends - not good outcomes. Karma, love ya ;)

I grew up in a tough white neighborhood bordering a tough black neighborhood, both full of bullies. They would ask you for a quarter and if you showed your money they would take it all and if you didn't they would beat you. I lost 4 friends to street violence in the 60's, before gangs. One day on my way to school when I was 12 a kid in the class just above mine asked me for a quarter and without thinking I decked him...I never had any more problems with bullies...you want me to deck whoever is bullying you?

this is a perfect truth......never ignore a bully, it only makes them
stronger and more hurtful. its kinda like the muslim terrorists, they will never stop if we just ignore them.
you need to take a stand and speak to your bully in the only language he or she understands, unfortunatly its the only way to put them away forever. I would come beat them up for you if you were here lol

They were always bullies Ray even when I was a child. As one grew one discovered the only thing they understood was too be beaten at there own game. Of course it is a job to do anything but ignore or block those who persist in this abuse on this medium . It is like the lad who said to me once on the phone you sound nice what are you wearing. A bloody old pair of Wellingtons and an ex army great coat. Deadly silence.
