Re: GypsyButterfly
It's another name for an evaporative cooler. It cools the air by evaporating water. The fan & water are running at the same time.

P When I was a boy my aunt loved Hello Dolly. I used to play it for her when she visited from Miami Beach once a year love. –BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Fabulous music choices --- Rhapsody in Blue --- can't be beat and yes, Hello Dolly - ahh excellent music to pass a Sunday afternoon with. I like this - brings back memories to me when I was a youngster. We had music always round our home, but especially on the weekend ('cause Daddy was home from work)

I hope soon you can get another A/C. THis heat is very uncomfortable and good you stay hydrated. I have A/C but have bought several small fans and have placed them throughout the home to get the air moving more and more -

Ahhh you transported me to my college days in New Orleans and those hot summer nights when we had nothing better to do than listen to jazz in crowded steaming little clubs... Those were the days! xoxoxo

Cool jazz in a hot room... Pass the mint julep, Miss Caroline,
