I still look here.
Let the sun's rays rest on your bare arms, and allow a portion of the day to let your imagination frolick.

I always like a re-worked poem, it gives added insight! There are time when we are not up to par for one reason or another and we can only ask ourselves to get through it one step at a time! sam

I enjoyed this... and will read on ...
I am a blogit oldie but with a lengthy hiatus for personal circumstances pulled me away for some time. I just wanted to comment on you writing more "Up" ...
I have had both many good and of course bad times and every one of them a teaching if you will. However, a lot of my writing is considered "dark" I suppose but that is not a representation of me as a person - far from it actually. I will share with you this:
"Go for the jugular. If something scary comes up, go for it. That's where the energy is. Otherwise you'll spend all your time writing around what makes you nervous. It will probably be abstract, bland writing because you're avoiding the truth" (N. Goldberg, 1990)
Hemingway said, "Write hard and clear about what hurts. Don't avoid it. It has all the energy. Don't worry, no one ever died of it. You might cry or laugh but not die".

Wll Raye you can't really be expected to be a bundle of laughs, but your spirit shines through even if you feel it does not, I like your poems, old or new and I hope you feel better after posting them
