Rosey, and sometimes even in sleep, new ideas come....
some of my best poetry and story ideas have come in my sleep (in dreams or in that half awake-half asleep mode)..

I liked the concluding sentence with renewal because there is always something that needs attention! I really liked this line, too:
A mind more aware of its boundaries but filed with potential for further development. AMEN! sam

Fascinating writing that is poetic, entertaining and familiar for me, a person that has spent a lot of time wandering through the streets of Old Montreal looking at the work of artists, even sharing a coffee with one or the other.A nice post.

doer...And the last paragraph is a perfect wrap-up!
You asked about hippies - I think the spirit of the time will return as the world divides deeper and more destructively than ever. Peace, love, flower-power are the healing balms waiting. And plus, I have the long hair, poetry, flowing skirts (mini or midi, lol) and gardens saved and ready to go back into service..:)
