I am concerned about that too but those elements are shunned by the majority of Occupy protesters. Big difference between them and the militia's is that many of the militia groups have an avowed agenda to overthrow the government by any means necessary. Occupy is working for economic justice and true democracy. Also the Occupy violence, while very wrong and uncalled for
does not call for random, mass casualties such as this plan.

My concern is not only the militia groups around the country, but also the anarchistic and criminal elements within the Occupy groups around the country. Peaceful demonstrations could easily turn into chaos -- as shown by the Oakland situation. Scary to think we are in such a precarious situation on several fronts and a spark could ignite destruction and civil conflict.
