I think not saying a word about his drinking is a good choice luv.How about just praying that he quits? Protect yourself and avoid arguments that can get him riled up.

I believe I really can if he gets caught. I have already been through so much shame in my heart; it will only become public this way but I will leave that up to God. I know God gives strength to the humble, but sets himself against the proud and haughy. After all we've been through, you would think he would remember that! Thanks for all your advice & encouragement.

for him not to hurt himself or anyone else.
Can you really be strong enough to leave him in jail? That would be the best wake up call...if he gets himself into trouble, let him get himself out of it.
Time he became an adult, took some resposibility for all of his actions.
