Adnohr
Good for you in pressing on with your life and doing what you have to. Bird loves you now from a much more joyful place.
Kabu and I love you in this painful place called earth.

was so happy to read the gentle stroke of healing! It is so hard in the beginning! You will get back to things in your time! It is a blessing that you are busy! I think you made the right decision to work from home, I think you will be better off in the long run, too! Bird is always going to be with you! I believe he is your guardian angel now, and how utter wonderful that is, too! The Habs won so that should put another smile in your pocket, just keep counting them and one day you will be healed from this loss! You know your limitations and I trust in your judgment so time is on your side and just work through it one step at a time! Sending an Idaho potato smile your way, lol, and a big HUG, too! sam

There is no miracle cure, I am afraid love is cruel in this respect the more you have given the harder it is to feel whole again. At least you have no regrets you did the best that you could, we always think if I had done so and so but we are relating to a different time. Loved ones would not want us to grieve, but sometimes tears release one from this and feel merciful.

How exciting for Grump Pup to have you permanently at home but
I am sure that you know not to cut yourself off totally from the world.
It is sad to see you having to down size so much but then how much easier especially all winter to not take those long drives. one doesn't have to dress up...saving....no rent for the office...saving....less gas ...saving.... you won't miss the Habs games.....!!!! and if grief suddenly overwhelms you then you can do what you need to do in private.
If you need to run...we are here and the snakes are all gone. LOL

Dear Adnohr, sometimes I think you read my mind...
I've been thinking of Bird all week, off & on, thinking of how you must miss him, and at least he's no longer suffering. Thanks for sharing his photo of the moon. It's amazing. Maybe he was there on your evening ramble. Nice to think he's keeping tabs.
He's one of several who visit my thoughts these days, who very much deserve our thoughts and prayers, and who we were lucky to have known. (even if only through Blogit. Take care.

When we lose a loved one, as in my sister in 2008, there will always be reminders of them that will come to mind and help with the healing of our hearts. In my case, it is when I see a yellow butterfly. One lighted on her son's shoulder the morning she died and he said that he felt this was her way of telling him goodbye and that he would be OK. I've never lost her; she's in my heart now.
Bird will always be in your heart, too.

So good to read you and to know that you are carrying on no matter how difficult the times and situations. You bring back so many memories and feelings in this post, of the times when little things brought so many tears.
