You are so right! They will have you confused. You are right to weigh each and make an informed decision that you can live with and be at peace. I hold a doctorate in education with a degree in psychology. One must get information no matter the person or degree.

I have a lot of eye problems so I know it can be very frustrating to get solutions.

Eyesight is so critical and I can appreciate your concern! My daughter had her right eye dominate her left eye so it did not develop properly and she is blind. So, we have monitored the good eye for 20 years and it is a worrying process, no way of getting around it! I like the idea of a monthly check up! It just makes good sense! You are not going to stop worrying about but try to keep it all in perspective, at least that's the lesson I have learned over the years! sam

i prefer the second Dr. to monitor for awhile.....I am wary of a Dr.
who wants to rush you into surgery unless it is a crisis situation. I remember a dr. years ago wanted to sign me up for surgery so I got a second opinion who said no and I have never needed that surgery. I think that the way you are going is the right path.

It's a good thing that you went and got a second opinion.
