It's interesting how our age plays a role in what we do.

Re:

Thank you Doc nice to know you have the forbearance to study other aspects of human behavior and minds really, but don't be too kind or the receptive person will not aspire to do better.

Re: Re:

The bikes are dry! I took now the car port that housed them, then I moved the bikes to the front porch (covered), put a tarp on them and to the garage and covered deck so they will be dry! It was a chore! I had to take the metal frame apart and store it in boxes. The floor to the storage unit as it were I put on the open patio on wood and covered with a tarp! Mik, my son, will come by to pick it up since he has the other half at his house now! He took it and made a deck off the back of his music studio! It is merely an out building that he is converting! He has heat and air conditioning in it, too!

The prices of houses are falling in the 100,000 range but it's nearly impossible to qualify for a loan these days! If the banks had done in the beginning what they are doing now perhaps the scenario would not be so bad! But it seems the almighty quest for the quick, big profit is sinking the whole economy and it's worldwide! Such a pity that so many homes sit vacant while people are homeless. One has to be so careful because the homes that are the cheapest are being sold as is. I find that troubling because the bank essentially owns them and will not do any repair work! Now that I am a few weeks removed from being told I had a mortgage to not having one I have learned a great deal about how the market is working and a better understanding of the credit reporting and credit scoring! It all seems so mind boggling at times! When I start my search again I will be selective and buy a home that is not in foreclosure or short sale so that I can get an inspection to make sure I get a home that will not be or become a nightmare! Just such a mess for so many with limited finances!

You are so funny on the playboy thing! I bet you could pull it off, too!

I wouldn't know on too much roughage but it might be a cause! I am such a horrible eater that I gain weight because my body thinks I'm starving it! So, I have worked my way up to two meals per day! I have eggs for breakfast to get the protein in me and it seems to satisfy! I read that eggs do help nip the hunger pangs and it might be due to the protein! So, maybe you need more protein and less roughage!

I hope you solved the business matters, they can be trying! I have to watch every penny to make certain I stay on course! I had to laugh when I balanced my checkbook for this month's transactions, I spent everything and left myself 41 cents! LOL I had to pick up a couple of Christmast gifts so that pinched it too!

I hope you just kick back and enjoy the day and plot becoming a playboy! lol sam

You are highly qualified to comment on my writings.  You capture in poetry what I write.  For a long time it was difficult for me to get the figurative/metaphoric messages in poetry.  I was too literal. It takes me longer to get the figurative than literal..as Cain and Perry with the literal.  Great writing.. Captures bipolar, split personality...very well!

Re:

No Sam I did not feel like doing much today I am trying a different diet I have been eating a lot of nutty bars but I wondered if it was too much roughage. I had to do a bit of work on business affairs, but everything is so down in the dumps I might have to become a playboy. I hope your bikes are in the dry, I note house prices are still falling here, I think people realize if they are buying cheaper they must sell cheaper.

How utterly observant at the end; it told me that folks are one thing in our eyes and then totally different in the reality of it all! Stunning realization!

I got my yard work done! I am excited a bit lost at the same time! It takes so many days to get it completed that it's almost anticlimatic at the end! It feels good to have the weeds and dead plants gone but it seems a bit barren at the same time! Now, having said all that I looked about the house and have discovered it's time to get the dust cloth out and get on the business end of a vacuum cleaner, too! lol The work is never done, something always takes the place of a completed task! How about you, is the outdoor work done for you? sam
