I did the same thing Taps did - realized you were writing about snakes and then when back for a second read (which, of course, now took your words into a completely different light).

Re:
I remember your snake Sam you should have put it in a plastic bag and taken it up the road. I hope it was not a deadly one.

I don't remember reading this! I think I would have because I do not like snakes! And it would have been funny if you had reposted this one last summer when a darn snake held me captive because he took up residence in my front yard! lol sam
They give me the creeps! Ugh to all snakes! lol

A simply marvelous poem CCT. For a life time he tastes the dust of the ground and then some 8 year old sees him in the bushes at the edge of his world, whispers "it's a snake" and the race is on and freedom the trophy. Do you have snakes in England CCT or did that whistling fellow drive them out of there too?

It took me a few lines to wrap my mind around the fact that you were writing as the sanke. Then I had to go back and start again.

I loved my python that i used to have in Sydney...this reminds me of her
once she was having trouble shedding her skin and she came to me for assistance...it was kinda special to be so trusted.
