Muslims, of course, treat the nonsense of Ol' Mo's 'Night Journey' to the 'farther mosque' as real, (Surah 17:1), claiming that he travelled to al-Aqsa in Jerusalem, and from there to Heaven, where he had what was probably a midnight snack with Moses, Jesus and God before coming back, LOL.
Not that it matters: Jerusalem is and has been the Jewish capital for 3000 years, even if it was at times conquered by others. To complain about Jewish 'settlements' in Jerusalem makes about as much sense as complaining about American 'settlements' in Washington. Even less so, since the American 'settlements' are of far more recent vintage...
