Of course you must mention it to the owner of that moving company and never mind 'proof', that's what happened to it. They probably know that they have a guy who is less than honest but they have a hard time getting men for moving so some things get by. Don't let this just get by luv.

Someday, all electronic devices will have a biult in homing signal and an app on your smart phone will signal them to beep.  Hmm, maybe someone really needs to do this!

I do hope you'll find your camera, mainly because of the irreplaceable pictures, and the camera too, of course. But I, at least, hate the sense of having been violated in some way when someone stole from me! The worst thing is to be the victim of someone you trusted, but that hasn't happened to me in a long time, luckily...

Sure hope it turns up! My husband "thought" he had lost his jacket

in the men's restroon a couple of weeks ago at a truckstop. We called back to see if it had been turned in to the front office but nothing. So we thought that some trucker had a good heavy denim jacket for himself.  Low and behold, he found the jacket stuffed behind the seat of his truck!!!  Hope you find your camera, as well.

I'll bet you'll find that camera somewhere before to long.  Things have a way of showing up.   Yesterday Sis emailed me a new phone number for herself.  She said she lost her new cell phone and had to go out and buy another.  A little later at my house I noticed something peeking at me from behind the cushion in one of my chairs.  It was her phone pushed down between the arm and the seat.  I guess it fell out of her pocket or purse when she was here.

I do hope it is some place that seemed practical at the moment and just slipped your memory because so much was going on. I hope they did not take it for several reasons. I hate to have someone take anythings from me. Losing trust is a hurtful thing. I hope you find it. Even in face of all this year for you I still see smiles hanging on your tree. MERRY CHRISTMAS

Oh my goodness! I hope it is a memory lapse, too! Since the gentleman is a friend of yours I would think that he told his guys to take good care of you and that should be enough to deter them! But one never knows what can happen! sam

belief that it will just turn up unexpectedly some time...but soon.

I have had such lapses and wondered the same...

and was very glad later, when the thing turned up, that I had not accused anyone I considered suspect.

I hope that's how it works out for you, and soon!

Oh, I'm crossing my fingers that it turns up in a drawer where you

put it so you wouldn't forget where it is. That's one of my tricks. Sometimes I think it's best never to try to organize. Maybe it will pop up one day when you need an extra smile.

Trouble is they can look like a purse, well mine does, I would think however that a firm moving folk's possessions would have monitored the employees.  So there might be a chance of it turning up, you did not subconsciously hide it, I probably would have done in the circumstances. A little story as it is Christmas. My Double Glazing installers told me they went to do a job at one house the owner met them on the doorstep and pointed to a track which led to a public toilet about five minutes walk away as she did not want them to use hers. They did not do the job. She could have provided a bucket.

I know that you will be able to find your camera. It'll turn up when you least expect it.
