Bel, I certainly will....
I'll followup with the Doc when I'm supposed to and just take this thing a day at a time...hopefully its nothing to be concerned about, but whatever it is, we'll deal with it.

When I left Blogit we had all just suffered the loss of Joe Love...I have no intentions of losing another Blogit family member. You take care of yourself.

Pat, I have thought that same thought, too, more than once....
And most certainly agree...I'll take a "bandaid" over a colostomy bag any day..

Courage. You may be scared, but git 'er done.

C_C_T...yes, it was worth getting done...
And if followup of any kind is necessary, hopefully its something that can be done quickly and easily..

It will all work out old chap, I go for my third one in March when Kabu is back. In my first one 10 years ago they took polyps out of me. I'm hoping they won't find anything this time too and I'll be prayin' for you my friend. God be with you.

reasons, that's true...he doesn't mince words or hide anything...
Time will tell what is actually necessary, if anything more...hopefully the spot is benign and can be left alone.

I like how your doctor describes results to you as he explains what is
found as well as what may be needed to fix it. A straightforward diagnosis gives some relief to concerns.

sam, yes, there's no question about it....
And I'm hoping (and praying) that it will turn out to be nothing to be concerned about.

Justi, I'm glad I stuck with the cleansing on Wednesday....
Although drinking 20 glasses of everything from gatorade to white cranberry juice, I felt waterlogged.
..If all the drinking and cleansing helped the Doc see the trouble spot easier, then it was definitely worth it...I'll keep everyone updated for sure and all prayers greatly appreciated.

I agree that it should be done at the earliest possible time! But, it's done and now you know what to do! It may not be serious at all, too! The point is that it got caught in the early stage if indeed it turns out that way! sam

Perhaps you are proud you had all that pre 'lookie' cleansing before too. Good for you go back as you need and keep us informed.

FSI, it wasn't pleasant, but not as bad as I'd expected....
lol..the "after effects" were downright embarrassing - the Doc pumps gas into the colon in order to expand it to see it better - lol, well, all that extra gas has to come out afterwards..(was glad I was home by then..

Naut, yes its one of those tests that isn't pleasant....
but for safety's sake, its necessary once every ten years or so.

Yes, I'm just glad I finally got off my backside and got the test done...as the Doc said it was a good thing I came in yesterday...of course, I wish I could learn the results yesterday, but all in due course (and worrying about what they'll be? No use in that whatsoever.
..).

Been there, done that, or rather 'had it done', LOL. As you say, the prepping is the worst part - the procedure itself is no big deal. But whether you like it or not, it's got to be done occasionally...

you have done the right thing....even if it is the dreaded C....caught
early, it has the best recovery expectation. These days too, surgery is so key hole that it isn't as debilitating as only a few years ago. I have sent a prayer...just for insurance.
