- Go to 200 Million People Use Illicit Drugs, Study Finds
It seems...
The "war" on drugs isn't so much a war as a skirmish. The only lasting solution is for parents to be frank about drug use. Yes, at the outset they can be fun, but that fun comes with a steep price tag. I had to admit to my kids that I used drugs but I think the best conversation we had was about why I stopped using drugs. I told them that anything that fun can't be good. Some things are just not fun at all and in the end, the "high" one gets from raising a family is far superior to any artificially induced high. So far as I know, they do not use drugs other than alcohol. So a strong sense of family and being loved is the best defense.

I suppose this is to bring information. What about the information about how to lessen this?
