He was sort of part of Blogit, wasn't he? He knew it too - I would tell him all the comments on my posts, and he would smile. He was pleased how people he didn't even know could care so much.

So January 6 from now on is Happy Bird Day.
In our neck of the woods, we had a near-record high of 70 degrees and sunshine all day. At night the moon is approaching full, and all the stars are bright, especially Jupiter. Maybe it's just me, but it was a great day for a smile. I hope you all have a wonderful Bird Day celebration.
