So, we have a Michigander who roots for the loveable losers! I just had a chat this morning with my brother, a die-hard Cubs fan, about the trades and how long it is going to be before they become contenders again! I like their chances in the N L central with the exit of Albert Pujols to the Angels! It could be a fun year for them! They just picked up a prospect to play first base! He tore it up in the minors and he's young! I am not sure if he will make to the 'Bigs' this year because I have not heard Epstein say anything as yet! Now if Soriano [totally not worth the 8 year $136 million, including an 48 million signing bonus! Good money after bad in this scenario.] goes they might have a chance of building a true team that has a team concept! I do hope the Cubs have a successful year! Getting rid of Zambrano is a blessing although it will cost them $15 million this year! But, Go TIGERS! lol sam
