I enjoy it, but it doesn't pay enough, at least not yet!

Good luck from another small publisher!
I have been focusing on the (political) economics writing. Perhaps I should push the poetry books and the CD of love songs for Valentine's Day, but I am kind of swamped.

Hi Azur... I must say, I sometimes wonder if I should still be a member, because of the limited time I can spend here, but find the fees very small considering.. I pay mine by monthly subscription, always have.. that way I don't notice it. I'm sure you'll figure it out... and congratulations on the publishing venture...!

Decision Time
Azur I was very impressed with your reading. Coming back to Blogit, may not be your thing, but lots of people in here need to read and hear of your adventures. I vote you come back if only once a week.

I think you have made some great gains but as you say the timing has had its influence! I hope you can stay and all will be well with you on the other endeavors! sam

I might have written a book if I didn't have to publish it, market it, sell it and then have a stack of unsold ones sitting at my house.

I see you have your hands full! I do wish you a huge success with your book, of course, and also hope that you decide to stay around...

yes, it is true at least it seems so to me, that publishing
and writing are separate seats on the teeter-totter. And opening a shop is a whole 'nother thing, until you think about how the artisan's passion is part of the art, part of the package the reader buys. I think your new challenges are adding to rather than taking away from the heart of things. I love the celebration of this that comes through in your posts, and look forward to seeing your posts at the top of my favorites list. :)
