Now you did it!
The tears are streaming down my face and I'm choking back the sobs.
As we all know the soldier I sent over came home alive. But many times I experienced the genuine decency of the human spirit during those 14 months.
This is every military family members greatest fear. It makes me grateful there are still those out there who appreciate and honor the sacrifice.

This was painful to read, tears flowing and all! I can't tell you how utterly thankful I am that my son, as with the fallen soldier are the great Americans, did not come home in a box as it were! I am proud of him and all the soldiers who serve but it is unimaginable dread and then to lose one is beyond words! They did the right thing by the family and it was good to read how appreciative they were! sam
