Yes Bob you want a long one a bit cheeky probably and not highbrow. No even I can't admit to being there it was to do with yesterday's journal where people do not mention body parts.

Re: Re: Was that a twisty conscience I just heard get flushed away?
I went to a poetry slam tonight at "Ireland's 32" and got eliminated first off. It wasn't that no one liked my poems - the problem is that the judges get confused if you do more than one, so a rule got made tonight: just one poem per round. I have no shame - I'm going back again!

Re: Was that a twisty conscience I just heard get flushed away?
HI Bob on and off sorting through old stuff. You are getting a good response. It is a bit of fun. I don't think my conscience would slip away so easily, if I could get rid of this monkey on my shoulder. My Dad used to tell me I had one when we had a row.Don't you think it strange that some words mean different things. Very confusing for anyone learning English. I suppose one learns by experience. There is a good reference on the Home and student Word. I was writing in journal and could not remember Arnhem dates etc, it was there. I may even have spelled it wrong, have a job with that. I am using Dragon quite a bit since last week it is grappling with my accent. I think it is Yankee doodle orientated
.

Yes but in those days you could buy one for a few dollars Wiley. What is it now £3-50 a pint. I remember buying half of bitter 6 pence.

That was a perfect rendition of a drunk that did not sober up before morning and the bloodshot eyes needed to go. Ha.... This was really a wonderful tail you told today.
