My irises, crocuses, and daffodils have signaled their intention to
flourish, and winter seems to have thrown in the towel. Saying that makes me look for a piece of wood to knock on or give the weatherman the evil eye, but it's true - each moderate day that passes is like a dollar in the bank!

This is a worrysome poem, as we have had no real winter here and I am afraid it will come about tulip time.

It has been strange weather here, too! I am used to a decent winter but this one far exceeds my expectations! I want to plant my garden but it is far too early! I love it when you have time to post your poetry, it seems my day of reading isn't complete unless I get to bask in your awesome imagery! sam
