- Go to The Panhandler
Where I grew up I was unfamiliar with panhandlers. When I moved to Florida, I was confronted by a lot of panhandlers at all of the busy street corners. I always feel like I should give them something, and I still do try. I like to believe that most of them are just down on their luck; regardless of what they have done to have gotten where they are, it's got to be some kind of penance to be standing in that heat, dirty, and begging.

it is a shame that a person capable of writing like this, to create a
wonderful scenario in such style; to have so much talent, cannot have the good manners to leave a civil critique at a fellow bloggers post.

I do not think your comment was thoughtful or warranted. My mother used to tell me that if I had nothing good to say that I should say nothing, but I was never that kind of guy. If you don't like what I write don't fu#king read it...Learn some mannors!!!!!

Wonderful work! There are panhandlers in my town and it seems like every corner has one and it drives me nuts! I want to toss a newspaper at them because they should be looking for work! sam
