Kabu

So did I. If I were the same age as I was once and had the body I would not do it again.  The other thing is that those are things we would not wear in the house of God, are far too low cleavage, far too short skirts. These are sad situations that those wearing them do not think of them as too bare, but I think they are because they are inviting thoughts and actions that are not supposed to happen. This is more about appropriateness, like one would not or should no have public sexual behavior. This is just my thoughts. God does not want us to behave as if he did not exist. We are not going to hell for wearing skimpy clothes but we are not able to keep our eyes on him if we are doing things or wearing things that cause others to take their eyes off him. Just my thoughts.

The Lord wants us to be free and satisfied, and that can only happen through devotion and allegiance to Him for me! sam

It is a good post. I don't know. I used to wear a Bikini years and years

ago but only on the beach only amongst all the others. But then I am horrified to see my Grandaughter and step Granddaughter in short short shorts They are thirteen and the boys look while I grind my teeth. This was when I was in Australia last.

Does God really mind what we wear so long as we keep our eyes on him?

I am not too keen on today's fashion either. It's amazing how it's gone.

I see those as Church rules and not the Word spifically. I have said on here several times I am not of a doctrine but of the Word. I am not Catholic and would not know about the rules of catechism classes. I do not believe in catechism being the rule of coming to Jesus or into a church, although my church uses it. I do believe when there is too much cleavage and a skirt is too short it is not pleasing as is born out in the Word above my comment. That pertains in my thinking only to the Christians. If you do not belong to Jesus your rules are made up by some group and have no bearing on the rules of the Word. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for the read.

I was just thinking I might want to tease your brains on this one......

A friend of mine had her son put out of catechism class for confirmation because he was adorning a spike cut?  My cousin's son was told that a banian-t-shirt (despite this heat) is not acceptable at catechism classes. What's the connection between the Word and this?
