I guess that's true, Utah. I thought many would feel the same way. It has been some ride, and a part of me can hardly believe that I could continue to find so many things to share and write about. Hopefully I can keep it going for a long, long time!

I had a feeling it would be, Sam. It must be similar to starting a new job; learning a new procedure, the awkwardness of interacting with new people, getting into a routine, making a few mistakes and learning from them, etc. But we learn, we grow, we move forward, we make new friends and we share with the world. I should hope so too, Bright. This experience reminds me of when I was in art school. It was very easy to form friendships and get along with everyone because we were all artists with a very strong and common bond. I feel that this is the case here. We are all writers with the gift of story-telling and the sharing of thoughts and ideas, and I'd like to continue to do this for a long, long time!

Thanks for the congrats, Kabu, and the very wonderful compliment. It's nice to know my thoughts, ideas, stories and writing in general is enjoyed and appreciated by others. Obviously, your first year produced the greatest prize of all! Congrats to you as well!

I agree. My first year was much the same. It kept me into regular writing, and I "met" people in the process.

Congratulations, it is nine years since I wrote my first blog, I was happy to have found Blogit because for many years I was grieving the death of my wife, and blogging helped to fill the hours. You are a good writer and a great Blogit addition.
