Re: LOL I didn't mean to be but my life has been one of a Gypsy. picked up

That's because you had LOVE waiting at the other end!    My husband was offered a job with some company working on a pipeline many years ago when our first baby was born but decided against it.  We would have had to go up north and I don't think either of us would have liked the "cold". Lived too long in TX, I guess. Actually, my dad was born and raised in PA but after the war, he settled in TX; never returning to the north, except to visit a few times.

Re: Yes, it is a big state when you have to drive across it!

I am familiar with Plano and it is growing leaps and bounds like all the other towns in the Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex.  I will stick to my small town where you don't have to drive so far for an ice cream!

Re: Places? Sorry, TAPS, if you didn't like us!!! We do have to drive

a lot to get where we are going here if you live in a big city like Dallas or Houston. I was born and raised in a small town and for that, I am grateful.

Moving is always tough. I myself have moved three times in my life, but all three moves were within my state ( NJ ). It was still difficult though. By the way, my mom and sister & brother-in-law live in Texas, in a little town called Plano, not too far from Dallas. After a few visits, I've finally realized how BIG that damned state actually is! Geez!

I think that if I lived in Texas, I might leave it too.  LOL
I've never really liked the places that I have visited there.

LOL I didn't mean to be but my life has been one of a Gypsy. picked up

and moved first time when I was 23, and kept movomg every few years because of all sorts of circumstances. a full life but one doesn't have many life long friends. believe it or not, Coming to Wiley in Canada has proven to be one of the easiest moves.
