One can wonder what was missed but who knows in the long run! I live in a town of 200,000 and it's nothing but busy all hours of the day it seems! sam

We live in a fairly “sleepy” area in terms of traffic but I was recently thrown into the traffic and highway system in and around Seattle and felt like a fish out of water.

I wonder too how many people missed out on things due to fear.

Good for you
It never occurred I needed to have permission or someone to teach me to do anything that was common and all those I knew did it. Now that I am old I simply allow those younger to do it for me and they will be sure to learn. This was a sweet post.

I was brought up listening to my Dad saying that girls can't drive in the
city. Before he died i was driving him everywhere around Sydney Australia which is a crazy place to drive. I had toaught myself in my 40's and he was still too scared to drive there and was mighty proud of me. Yres we can do so much more in life than we first believe.
