The drought is getting worse! I don't the Mayan calendar is meant to mean the end of the world! It's an end to a cycle as I understand it! {It the 13th baktuns, or 5,125 year cycle.} We tend to make more of things than what is really there; human nature I suspect! I will say it seems like the world is on edge with the Syria news and the bombling! We will be our demise I believe. sam

a memory
I am reminded of college in the 60's outside Washington, when threat of nuclear war was in the air. I watched great buildings go up as if there really would be a tomorrow when we could admire and walk throught them. One way or another, we've muddled through since then.
