You and I are too much alike, well our backgrounds are, not to be kin. I don't mean to be putting you in a spot to be like me and all my foibles, but this was a statement my Mom loved to use when I would sneak off to read, or particularly write poetry. There was always too much to be done.

My Dad used to quote this to us in a resounding voice whenever we were wanting badly to sleep late on a Saturday morning. He couldn't stand laziness.

I don't think you are the naughty as in Proverbs. He is mostly passing along how to to people. Solomon was not able to live his own advice thus breaking the chain of Kings from David... He was not to marry wives of the enemy and he married thousands of them. DUH I don't think you are in any trouble.

proverbs ar tough on naughty folk.......thank you darling for another
wonderful post. One needs to read some of the word at times and I find that with our daily reading and posts in blogit I am given something to ponder every day.
