It's tough to let go of people we love! At least they have an understanding and you as well, it does make things better than way! When dislike enters the picture nothing good comes of it for me! sam

You are so right, food4thought.
What one feels at the moment is not quite the same. Much of the journaling I am doing right here in Blogit!

I think it is aging, Wiley
Although I would maybe not have been to quick to agree when I was a young poulette!

Re: Now you've done it! Made me cry... But in a good way.
One thing I am so thankful for, and that is how solid & loving my family is. It's so much easier to tackle the world!

adnohr...
I'm sure you must be journaling these life experiences and keeping them. I have found that the feelings one has immediately are not the ones that would be recorded even a few days later. The added value of that history is priceless.

Amongst all 3 of you that relationship may find that strong love they need for one another. My feelings about love and marriage is that if a person can see that a marriage is a service to God, by serving your mate, male and female, we are serving God. Nothing will go wrong. Perhaps it is aging that gives us that.

Now you've done it! Made me cry... But in a good way.
If only all families could be loving in such a torn up time. Hugs to you Adnohr, I admire the way you think!

The more, the merrier, C.C.
Come join the crowd. You'll feel right at home - it's raining here at the moment.

It is sad really Adnohr, but the the rug rats are getting more love than they would than if a house was filled with tension. Makes me wish I was a rug rat

The little devil! I knew if any of them would try it, it would be Bali!
I can remember doing the same when my mom would come to visit. I guess you're right - kids need that assurance of limits, even though they do things to test them out. I don't expect it will be the last time, LOL!

Thank you, Justi
We have a solid family structure, and I expect that is what will make it all turn out okay in the end.

Justi has put this pretty perfect and I am proud of you maintaining the
rules of your house. Cos I feel so deeply for the DIL and all the problems for her and your son and all...(been there and it ain't fun) but as I was told at the time, this is all for the little boys. That rug rat was so hoping that your rules would apply even though Mama was there, he is desperate for your boundaries so he feels safe.

His dad was taking the picture.
They make that sign to each other all the time. It means 'I love you'. Bali uses it whenever everything is going his way. He's not allowed to use the other sign when things AREN't going his way, LOL!

The photo brings me back to dental trips from when I was a kid...It's good that they are factoring the children in how they talk to one another.
