Re: I guess, but not much. I saw a picture recently of one of the victims
my father brought home a couple of books about Pompeii that he picked up during his time in Naples circa WWII...I have forever been fascinated about what happened...thanks, Bob!

I guess, but not much. I saw a picture recently of one of the victims
"frozen" in a sitting position with his hands over his mouth. The caption said he was guarding his mouth as best he could from the sulphurous stench and heat. What a way to go.
