I enjoyed reading this since I am not in the market for a house. If I needed to buy a house it would make me nervous.

for 23 years I had HOA but those were in condos and the one was fussing all the time about something, the last one I had never said a thing. Funny you mention floors my daughters floor in her bathroom is falling and the manager was suppose to fix it but so far he hasnt and that is their only bathroom.
Good luck house hunting is trying

Hi there, it escaped me somehow that you were back! Shows you how little I've been around since coming home from my trip! But it's great to have you back! I'm sure the house hunt will pay off in the end, though it's important to approach what is usual your biggest purchase with the utmost diligence...

I suppose nothing is ever perfect Sam but jump up and down on the bathroom floor suss out the roofs. When you like one try and get the neighbours opinion. If they slap the door in your face, it would not be a good start.

You haven't found a house because the one you really want has not come on the market yet. It will come onto the market in the first week of October...north of town...Honest.
