I wish everyone in the whole wide world would just gently lay down their guns for good. I'm so tired of people killing people with guns. Of course I know that 40 whacks with an axe is just as bad.

Not familiar with the movie but I felt bad for the man who laid down his gun. Did I come away with the intended impression?
