It is getting brisk at night, but I am enjoying having my bedroom window open 24/7, too! sam

Bare hunting? I'd love to seem them try that in the bush around here! They'd barely get away with the flesh on their bones, let alone the skin...

Love this picture - the tree is beautiful! Would like to see how long one would stay 'bare' hunting up here in Canada!!
As for the walks...maybe alot of people could give some needy doggies a home - very safe walking around then!!!

Nothing's just a lovely scene any more,
with all those layers of memory, new events shading the older ones, and that first glance that still comes to mind in all the others. It seems you are right, violence is more prevalent than it used to be in our neighborhoods and shops. Our society seems to be going through some kind of anxiety attack. Still, the tree is beautiful. :)

Oh how I loved this post. You write interesting things. Bare huh! I can just see the scene with you and your dad. That is a difficult place to be. It is so sad people can't feel safe these days right in their own neighborhoods.
