Main Subject: Snakes Slithering...
"Are you an artist as well?"
Yes, I am artist, philosopher, and
human being like yourself. Need you ask? I consider anyone "artist" just for making the attempt to express themselves in verse. The reason I was laughing was because you tried to tell both myself and Former Student about your poem, saying that "it slithers" (quite a nice hint
) and we both missed it. So, when I went back to read again, I caught your statement. It surprised me so, I couldn't stop laughing.

Hiya CC - a slithery poem?? Great job with the descriptive verses my friend.
Yes a little bit sad that both my girls are away. My daughter loves her Uni in England so that sort of makes up for it. Thanks for asking CC.

Re:
Hi Jay it was funny my sister has a shed and she noticed a mouse climbing up a string to get to the bird feeder very amusing until they increased and started going up in relays and two ran indoors. So she had to dispense with the bird feeder. The mice have move on. Garter snakes hmm'
I don't know much about those little chaps.

Re:PP
PP.
If we but knew what a snake feels , if you are going to stamp on it with your heavy boots it is bound to be annoyed.

It's a snake!
Well, most of us aren't expecting to step on a snake, so therefore we probably don't see it until it is already striking. Now, after a close reading of your poem, I see some entity is losing its skin and that should have led me to believe that, clearly, you have hidden a dangerous snake in that poem... for me to step upon! O, be still my heart...!
Had it been a real one, I would certainly be dead!

Will be forced to mull this one over for awhile. There is just too much here to digest in a few moments. This will keep me busy and out of trouble for a little while, anyway
