That is a dream situation. Having the ideas to write about and the time to write them can be two different things. Take full advantage, and go to work! Great pic!

Bush Woman

That is such a delight. I want to be curled up in my big chair reading your book. Oh that is such a delight. I hope all of them come to your aid. You are a lovely lady, smart, sassy and a perspective new novelist. See that you have privacy, space and time to write....

Two books we'll buy, got that sis? Being a Blogiteer you're already a published author. I think you have a story to tell about your life as a Québecois, the history of Qué and the desire for separation, all of that and of course it will be published `en deux langue` and you'll soon be rolling in the green stuff with the Queens image on it maudire. Go girl go.

Here's wishing you the very best in your writing endeavors. With a wonderful family as you have to "watch your back" you can't go wrong with this exciting new adventure in your life.

Thank you, sweet Kabu! That is more important than publishing even!

I'll drive over and sign them for you with pleasure...ummm....are you still making lamingtons?

Thank you Nautikos!

I only feel younger after 2 coffee in the morning! Or a bottle of red at night, LOL! I will certainly do my best - just because I have so much to tell.....and your ribbons will be blue.

When they are published (positive attitude here) I'll send them to you one by one, wrapped in pink ribbon!!

I am so happy. What a wonderful family you are and those rug rats are going

to grow up happier healthier better disiplined and strong with the love they will have. They will live in the bush....nothing could be better than that, and they will have an adult to supervise them always and a permanency that has been lacking. You are all blessed and I couldn't be happier that this has happened for someone who really deserves this.

I'll buy the book of course and it has to be a signed copy.

All of it sounds delightful and promising! The rug rats will keep you not only on your toes, but will also help keep you young, although you don't actually need much help in that department!

And gaining the freedom to write will turn you into a successful, published author - of that I have no doubt!

I am so happy for you.  You will be a best-selling author, and I want all of your books.

Maybe I'll write about all the characters in our Blogit community for the first one

Wow Ciel - that's very similar to what my son said!

And now I'm so excited!!

LOL- not so much my age that worried them, Pat_B

but 2 years ago my ex was showing up, buzzed and dangerous - the dogs knew him, so the kids were worried that they not be protective; that, and my penchant for taking wild toboggan rides in the middle of winter nights . After Bird's passing, I was exhausted and pretty zombie for awhile too. I am isolated out here - and they're worry warts! Knew about Writer's Digest - you had given me that info a while back, thanks!!

It would be lovely to do it Adnohr no use killing yourself for a few more dollars. I promise to buy your first book.

Hear, hear! I second what Pat says!

You have the chance now to do what you want to do, instead of what you have to do. Reward for a lifetime of doing right by your kids and friends, who want this for you enough to adapt their lives to your situation--as you did for them, when they needed you to.

Wow! Talk about a big leap! Way to go Adnohr....

If you're not already doing so, I'd suggest you go online and sign up for Writer's Digest email newsletters. They send weekly tips & tricks, offer bargain books on writing/selling, etc. Motivation, too. You've got so much great life experience that makes for plot and character material, human interest especially.

BTW, you're barely out of the Goddess Decade (50s) hardly a candidate for "the home."
