They have lost face with many. The EU is in collapse, Italy is next in line for bankruptcy after Greece, Spain and Portugal. In Greece they called the German prime minister a Nazi when she visited. The prize is beyond a joke, it is all the way to sad, so much so that those who deserve the prize are lost in the shuffle.

The Nobel Prizes are being turned into a joke ...
I lost interest in them that year when Yasser Arafat won the peace Prize Peace...well he had to share it but it was a joke....to me.
