Kabu, these peoople in the diplomatic corps put their lives on the line every day in the most hellish of places. You couldn't get me on a plane to Europe even, much less Africa or the Middle East. Thank you for your quiet concern over NorthAmerica's most recent heroes.

As Wiley said, I'll be glad when the election is over. Seems like there's feeding frenzy going on down there over just about anything.

I will be happy when this U.S. election is over. I dislike Romney particularly for his comments on the Brit Olympics and for his comment about Canada having to increase our defense spending. Now he is going to tell the entire world what to do and how to do it. I hope he has enough smarts to be timid with the Russians, they still seem to be stong enough to kick Romney's ass. Great post.

Lies, misinformation, whatever. I guess it would be too much to expect
anyone in power to admit they didn't know what happened, that they were caught napping. How does Average Viewer know what compound CNN is filming when they broadcast shots of angry mobs burning the US Flag? The walls of one look very much like the others.

Yes that it what Biden said alright, implying that they were uninformed by our intelligence community, and on the very next question he put all of his faith in that community saying they would know when Iran has the bomb. The state department gave testimony to Congress that they had informed the White House. Seems this horse pucky just wont go away...Great post.
