I am like you, one or two passwords for most things and anything
I used something different for, I have lost.....actually have probably forgotten one or two. The hackers are a part of life and just like now i lock my doors I have to lock my computer...but I know with both the door and the puter...if someone really wants to get in, they will.

I hate passwords too. So there are so many more people who just take wicked action as a normal activity. I am stunned.

I've never been hacked, so far, touch wood (*touches his forehead), but I've on occasion been the victim of 'password confusion' (my own), which is always a monumental pain in the...- neck...

I too am one of those who use the exact same password for any sight I visit who requires it. However, it is so unusual and so obscure that I've never been hacked! In fact, it's not even a word! Just ask Groucho . . .

Because of my job, I was forced to create complicated passwords, and different ones for each site. I write them down too, but only I know where...and if anyone wants them, they have to get through my doggies first!
Just out of curiosity, I think Ill see if that Hacker's How-to works!

Taps I have so many passwords that I invariably put in the wrong one and have to call for a new one. I suppose in time, well there is a thumb print one but my thumb is a bit scored with gardening chores so I wonder if it would work.

I have hesitated to write mine down, too, but my mind is like a sieve...
So I write them down either as initials, or as a clue that will lead my slacker memory right to the right one, but won't reveal anything to anyone else.

My tech savvy son helped me create a new password
after someone started spamming folks on my email contact list. Since the hacker/s are online, I decided to risk writing my new and complicated password on the back page of my desk calendar. I'd have hidden it better, but then I'd never remember where it is if I should need it again.
