I believe that you are the one who will make this work. You are strong,
wise, loving, generous, talented and have street smarts. Yes OK I am a fan, but who wouldn't be a fan of such a darling ..........all the best to you all.

I agree with you, it would be hard to live with inlaws, but I think everyone involved will grow closser in every way for life times to come. These times you share now will become presious to all.

Thank you, Justi - that is quite a compliment from our own Superwoman!
I do believe that we get as much as we can handle, and it goes from there. I find most women are very strong, don't you?

That's right, BC-A
And right now he needs the money, and knows he doesn't have to worry about the boys while he is gone, although he'll be missing them for sure!

I can't stand tights either, CCT!
Yep - I'm proud of all my kids, and hope to be the same for the grandchildren one day too.

So far so good, Jimmy
He is an industrial mechanic by trade, and on his first day there they promoted him and added a $6/hour raise!! He's flying, LOL!

It played a part in the Quebec elections too, FSI
I'm shocked at how much more money needs to be spent just at the elementary level!

I get such strength just reading you. You are one of the most of the most of women I have encountered in my life. I thought when you went through the entire battle with Bird, then the business but now you are showing the brightest of bright colors of strength, love and resoluteness. A fine woman you are!

'Long-sleeved pants'? I love it! I think I know the ones he means - these dreadful white cotton thingies with one flap at the front and one at the rear; you sometimes see tehm in catoons, for good reason, LOL...I have never worn them and never will! Even if nobody ever saw them, I'd know I'd be wearing them - yukkk! I have worn tights when cycling in cold weather, and I didn't mind those...
But how you ever get a moment's rest is beyond me...

Well I wear pyjama trousers Adnohr but also trousers that are lined in the bad weather.
Once years ago I bought some men's tights and suddenly in the middle of the town they began to drive me crazy I think it was hairs conducting electricy or something I remember thinking how do women wear these bloody things. I managed to pull them off in the van and thinking never again. It will be great if you can be friends with your D.I.L
good for the boys and holding the marriage together. It is tough for your son, but at least it is honest work, I expect you are proud of him.

Hey, when the weather started to get cooler, I had to break out all of my "long-sleeved" pants as well! Sounds like your family keeps you on your toes, but that's a good thing! And sometimes it's difficult to choose between a well-paying job, and the "cost" it may have on the rest of the family. I hope it works out well for him.

Great news - they've mended things. It will, I hope, be stronger for it.
Love the long sleeved pants -- perfect! Hugs to you and all those under your wing... :)

What a busy life you are having. I remember that sort of thing with fondness, even though I remember a time or two of secretly checking into The Crown Center Hotel for a solitude respite when my house was teeming.

I am sure those four weeks will fly on by...In the States, the cost of college and education in general has been discussed a lot during this election season.
