Corbin, if my comment influenced you I am glad of it.

You are an excellent writer and, even if I don't understand some of it, or don't agree with you all the time, and don't always comment, I enjoy (and learn) from reading your posts. And thank you for reading mine! I still have not forgotten your timely gift of "Rainbow Bridge'

True Straightforward

It existed when we were kids (polka vs rock n roll, etc) and does now...and probably will keep doing so in the future. It just seems a 'way' becomes an 'old' way far quicker....

Thank you Nautikos!

Do you have any idea how to train a dog for police service??

Thanks, Kabu.

Excitement is good if tempered with physical exercise - before bedtime at least.  We granny's have tricks up our sleeves...learned while dealing with the mommies and daddies of our grandkids.

LOL Ciel!

Believe me, the will is easy...the energy another thing altogether! It kinda runs out.....

So true, FSI.

Gadgets are meant to stimulate, and to help, but not as babysitters.

Yep - can picture you doing that, TAPS.

Haha, Pat_B,

so right! Hearing our names called to come inside was always at the worst moment!!! But, of course, one didn't dawdle without answering for it!

That was cheating Adnohr a good cop would have worked on her own, but I suppose it might be a bit worrying if the suspects were not identified quicky. I wish I could play with you but the dogs would probably chew before they realised that I was innocent.

What fun!  One never gets too old to play.  I've certainly done my share--as a child, as a parent, as a grandparent and with many children who are not even related.  Loved the post.

I loved this post and only wished I had such a wise and caring person in my life when I was young. You are a marvelous grandparent Adnor and your love shines in each and every word you post.

Great post! Great to be a kid again!

I love it! Takes me back to those thrilling days of yesteryear, when the kids had to be on the porch when the streetlights came on, which ALWAYS happened just when the game was the most exciting.
