Whatever you've got there, you should bottle and sell it or even just give it away - parents and the rest of us would be forever grateful...

Re: It's what I taught my own kids, Kabu.
I know it will, and perhaps Mummy and Daddy will get the message and follow your lead.

I feel sorry for them if they don't know you, UtahJay
There is nothing I love better than to see my grandchildren grow and learn. It's sad when we think that someone has missed out on that.

Thanks, TAPS.
They are good with me too - priceless moments with chubby arms around my neck and sticky kisses.

It's what I taught my own kids, Kabu.
Do what you want, but YOU pay the consequences. It worked for them - hoping it will do the same for this generation.

No, we weren't allowed tantrums either, CCT
but as you say, times have changed. It seems to have switched from complete authoritarian to over-lax for raising children. Trying to find a happy medium here.

You are a fantastic Grandmother, and you have a big heart full of love and your little guys can feel that and I think that is so important. I never knew my grandparents, but I have a feeling that they know me.

You are the kiddie,Adhnor, smart bit of psychology, though I doubt if our parents would have leaned so far backward, I don't think we would have have dared to even think of throwing a tantrum. Times move on and one has to be clever to hold the family together discipline seems to have completely vanished, much to the child's disadvantage eventually. Of course in time they will love you all the more.

You are a wonder woman with three very handsome little boys who are getting smarter by the day, due to a wonderful grandmother. We are all in love with this family. Get to writing a book or a series of stories for a mag about this family it is wonderfu.

MLoving that dog and this family post. The format’s working, becoming entertaining and everyday issue oriented for families. I like it from some background in studying for the ministry years ago love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

It's impossible not to love those boys...
or to find new hope for the future when I think about who they'll be and how they'll manage the world when they're grown. :)
