I guess I'm behind the times! I still like to go and look at most of the stuff I want to buy before I make my decision, other than maybe books. I also like to be served properly, which of course is next to impossible these days...

There ya go! Although they're referring to the on-line shopping, Cyber Monday is still Cyber Monday! My wife and I plan to do at least 99% of our shopping on-line, but we prefer Thursdays for some reason . . .

Heard an interview with a writer on NPR yesterday,
William Gibson I think it was - a sci fi writer who invented the term cyber-space. He invented the word in the '80s, when desktop computers were mostly available only in the workplace, and the internet was limited to a few very advanced tech nerds. Kind of a reminder how fast the world has changed...
