Humans are complex creatures living in a fast moving world. It makes one wonder how coming together could ever happen but intuition tells us that it is possible eventually. Maybe even necessary.

Straightforward
Quilting ties everything together, and people could be viewed that way, all races in a quilt pattern.

Always remember . . . you can't please all of the people all of the time! There will always, always, always be differences of opinions, different beliefs, different ideologies, different tastes amongst every, single human being on this planet! There's only one thing that unites us all, but I refuse to mention it at this time . . .

I feel that compromise goes a long way. Unfortunately, many politicians in America have forgotten that.

I think believing in the rights of others (if they do not bring harm; for example, religious extremism that is abusive and destructive) as much as we believe in our own rights is a unifying thread in a diverse world. Another way of saying respect?

Well MS SF. if we were all equal and remained so, it would not be so hard. Nature has never worked that way and ultimately we are what nature allows.

I saw the movie Lincoln tonight, I think we all should see it, we need a leader like him who knows and loves all of the people and understands we are stronger together than we are divided.
