I am a shopolic but I find shopping on line is as fullfilling as in person and like you said there is not fussing or crowds.

Our own Chistmas dinners very much resemble yours, except for the pigs in blankets - we keep the blankets for ourselves and, come to think of it, we have no pigs either. I wouldn't mind, actually, but our local by-laws wouldn't allow it, methinks...Oh, and I'm glad you're feeling well...

WE just carry on as we always do, forget to de-freeze the cheesecakes, reminds me I must get some bread as we do not eat that any more. Reminds me your blog does, that I should go shopping today and load up with some things for the siblings as their tables always groan with goodies. I don't think I'll get a turkey, I keep imaging them going gobble gobble.

I've got a nice big spiral-sliced ham. And, I keep planning on making that craisins cheese ball that Annicita gave us the recipe for, but I keep forgetting to buy all the ingredients. I'm not entertaining here. Got several nice party/get-togethers to go to.

My family is huge ( three brothers, two sisters, fifteen nieces and nephews, six great-nieces and nephews ), so each Christmas Eve we gather at someone's house ( this year it's one of my nieces ) for our festivities. And then, on Christmas day, all of the families pretty much keep to themselves.

It seems a different thing each year, now the kids are grown
and living miles apart. I am spending it with my son, and we will call the girls and their families, maybe Skype with pictures. Their dad will be with the daughters.
I have not decided what dinner will be... for only two of us, maybe not a huge turkey and trimmins!

JThe tree and decorations went up Thanksgiving. The lights and tinsel Sunday. I picked up some pieces at the church Christmas boutique (flea market). They replaced a few that broke over summer and fall. The storage went on the floor in a small room. Footloose? Merry Christmas love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st
