I suppose as kids we just accepted things as they were Taps. It was the time of family cohesion so rare today. Happy Christmas

Yes Naut pronounced a bit differently according to the Concise Oxford. We would not have believed it in those days.

Makes me wish I could spend just one more Christmas with my Gran, or with my mom who was Gran of my children.   You make me feel a lot of nostalgia...often.

PP she was rough, tough. and she sent one of her son's to Oxford  on the first scholarship in the County. He became a Don.
