Yeah, I was rooting for the angel, too. But this was a 1940's movie, filled with all sorts of propriety... good will and morality. That angel would never have gotten away with anything... Ah, the good ol' days...

Probably only watched cowboys PP but it seems vaquely familiar . Well I shall not watch it now after your vivid description. Um, who was the pimply youth you had to keep restraining?

I do remember that one too... Cari Grant was the angel and he flirted with the bishop's wife... a lot! I kept wishing something would happen tpo the Bishop so they could get together ( G-d forgive me) The bishop ( David Niven) was an uptight guy Yes a good movie :-) xoxoxo
