I like the idea of Plexiglass...As for the Red Wings, I feel that they will do well. The experts have been predicting them to miss the playoffs since the 2004-05 Lockout concluded.

ahh plexiglass, I had a picture that was framed in plexi glass and I thought it was regular glass

The only stiff plastic I have used is in the greenhouses Sam, it is about the same price as glass these days, but not so rigid although quite a few greenhouses are now rigid plastic as you may know. I don't know about fire risk.
