Wow, how nerve wracking, Dear Sam!
But hey, might help your anxiety to vent it here; that's what friends are for - offering an ear or set of eyes and shoulder or typing hand if need be...:)

Geez, when is your "house business" going to conclude? Talk about the powers-that-be dragging their feet! And as far as those spammers are concerned, I hate to sound callous but, I have very little sympathy for anyone who actually falls for any of those on-line credit score sights and others of a similar nature. Stick to the old adage of "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is," and protect yourself at all times!

Wow! I have bought 4 houses during my lifetime, and have never seen hassles such as what is happening today. A friend of mine here just sold her house, and the contract says she is to vacate it for Feb 15th. Yet - the buyer also has until that date to change his mind about the purchase. In the meantime, she is packing 50 years into boxes, discarding furniture, etc. Now what happens if the buyer DOES change his mind??
You, Sam, were talking February, now it's April??

Tell me about it Sam I think a lot of these things are prolonged to raise the fees.
No one can explain why it takes so long and the seller must be aggrieved. Although I suspect the seller has the option to kill the sale if the market rises, which is unfair. No honour where money is concerned. Be lucky

Things are sure slow, aren't they? But as the days grow longer and the sun is a little higher in the sky each day, these portents of spring will make them more easy to bear...
