True - it is a wonderful description of the creative process, and the love, and even the ending is uplifting through the sad reality demanded.

The memory of that smile...
A wonderful image of the creative process. The close is so poignant, having to sell his work to fund his care. The financing of old age care is causing a lot of heartache in Britain too and is being discussed in our parliament.

what a poem what a love story and how you have captured the
artist. I have so little talent but I know the holding in the hand waiting for the rock to speak and then never being satisfied that I did the image justice.

Sinome
A love story in form of a poem - beautiful. And reading it, I was also reminded of the painting with the world's most famous smile - la Gioconda's, and wonder if Leonardo loved her...
