Well jimmyA
that's a good trick but I don't keep a ledger I just keep track on the computer. I rarely bounce checks and when I do, it's nearly always the bank's fault. It was the bank's fault this time too. I told the back to send the check on the 13th and they sent in on the 12th. before i got my social security on the thirteenth

A decision goes a long way in making one sleep easier at night.

What are you eating before going to bed? Or rather, what might be the last thing you eat the closest to bedtime? That may have something to do with your interrupted sleep! And here's something I've been doing with my bank accounts that might help. In your ledger, round off your deposits to the lowest dollar, and round off your written checks to the highest dollar! In other words, if you deposit, say, $152, write in $150. And if you write a check for, say, $312, write in $315! Over time, you will actually end up with more money in your account than your ledger will show, and that way, there's no chance of bouncing a check. It really works!
