We had rain like that in our city yesterday. Such a gray, wet day.
I did a lot of just sitting around, looking out, and thinking.

This is a very different poem for you, excellent. The great difference I saw was that this was about events in a selected setting. Your poems that are about love and rain is a totally different element. This was very interesting and just shows all the more what an excellent poet you are.

Perfect comparison...and the reason I prefer the bush to a city. Then the endng - which made it so sad.

I felt i was in Sydney when you described the tropical rain i could see
it falling and dripping through my small rainforest area to the tropical plants waiting eagerly on the ground.....then the end of your poem made my heart ache for the poet. brilliant my dear friend.

This, Marta, is to totally taken in by the mystery of the surroundings - just the sound and it makes one lose one's self however momentary or extended. A lovely composition, princess, and the warmth of it xoxoxo
